OnlyCritiques.com Review:
Napoleon Hill born in 1883 is considered the father of modern inspirational self-help books. His most famous book is Think and Grow Rich. It was published after twenty years of meticulous research and interviewing many famous personalities of that time. However, the mantra for success stands true even today, which is testimony to the fact that the book is still a best-seller.
Napoleon Hill began his journalistic career at a young age writing for the local newspapers. This paid for his law school education. In 1908, he was assigned to interview famous personalities for a set of biographies. This was when he met industrialist Andrew Carnegie, who was one of the richest businesspersons in the world. Andrew Carnegie felt that there was a formula for success, which could be replicated by an average person. For this project, Napoleon Hill set out to interview more than five hundred distinguished men and women, many of them millionaires, to determine this formula for success. During this project Napoleon Hill met and consulted, luminaries like Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, George Eastman, Henry Ford, Elmer Gates, John D. Rockefeller, Charles M. Schwab, F.W. Woolworth, William Wrigley Jr., John Wanamaker, William Jennings Bryan, Theodore Roosevelt, William H. Taft, Woodrow Wilson, and Jennings Randolph.
The result of this mammoth research was the book The Law of Success. This was later reproduced in as a seventeen volume series titled Mental Dynamite.
Napoleon Hill also edited and published Golden Rule magazine. In 1930, he wrote The Ladder to Success. His most famous masterpiece Think and Grow Rich was printed in 1937. Other titles published include How to Sell Your Way through Life, How to Raise Your Own Salary, the Law of Success, Success through a Positive Mental Attitude and You Can Work Your Own Miracles. Napoleon Hill thus had a long and successful career as a distinguished writer, teacher and author of the formula for success. Even today, millions continue to benefit from his knowledge, which has stood the test of time and is equally relevant today as it was in 1937.
