Dr. Gerald McCarthy marketed most of the products of Kaire International as nutritional supplements. These products contained pycnogenol, a substance form the bark of the pine tree. Such products were Maritime Prime, UltraPrime, Super Maritime Prime, and Maritime Plus. These products were essentially drugs.

Dr. Gerald McCarthy further misused promotional materials of Kaire International for selling the products. They also sold many products for treating disorders Attention Deficit Disorder or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children. However, none of the products had any healing properties and Dr. Gerald McCarthy-J & R Research Company was making false claims and misleading the public.

Therefore, Dr. Gerald McCarthy and his company J & R Research face charges and allegations for fraudulent advertisement, causing much harm to children. Many parents try such natural alternatives for prescription medicines to cure attention disorder in their children. These products are baseless and do not satisfy any of their claims.
