Marc Stephen Garrison is the founder of the National Association of Real Estate Investors (NAREI). NAREI was founded in 1985.It arranges for buying tours for groups of investors in potentially cheap neighborhoods. Its members give free advice and conduct a program titled Creating Wealth and Building a Financial Fortress, available on video for around five hundred dollars. Marc Stephen Garrison has twenty books on real estate to his credit, beginning with Financially Free, which was first published in 1986.Other popular books include How to sell your home in 90 days, and Unlimited Real Estate Profits.

Marc Garrison has been in the real estate business since three decades. He organizes paid tours in rundown districts in the selected cities. These cities are selected based on thorough research carried out by his associates. He has devised a Garrison Cycle for the property market. This is based on the assumption that the real estate market is privy to economic cycles. This helps him to know how a particular market is placed in the cycle, and therefore the right time to enter and leave a market. The data provided by him as part of the buying tour lists several new properties, yet unknown on the market. Second, the facts and analysis that go into every property is comprehensive. Based on the cash flow analysis it is possible to shortlist attractive properties while discarding the rest. His associates are genuinely helpful. His book Unlimited Real Estate Profit, illustrates stepwise methods to generate wealth through proper cash flow management.

However, some points should be noted before investing. Some of the markets may appear reasonable to investors who stay in richer areas.  Not all cheap properties may turn around. Some of them remain chronically rundown. Hence, investors should exercise discretion before blindly investing in rundown properties.

Marc Garrison has included relevant and current information in his books, which are recommended for reading to anyone interested in the real estate business.
