All businesses would have some or the other stuff that they do not require anymore. One can make business out of that unnecessary stuff. You can start it simply by picking up the phone book and finding out businesses that may have such surplus stuff. Then call them up and ask for information about what they have. If you get something useful, you will have to find customers for that.

However, the problem is that liquidating requires one to stay home all-day. One can contact different businesses during the business hours only. Companies like ACL actually make their money by selling their memberships and business courses. They make tall claims, but ninety percent of their profits are not from liquidating. They do active liquidating only when they come across some highly profitable deal. Therefore, it is not a wise idea to rely on the Association of Certified Liquidators. There are better and easier ways to make money.
