OnlyCritiques.com Review:
Today, everybody wants to get cured from diseases in a natural way. Therefore, many herbal companies have come up worldwide. These companies use the power of herbs and plants to protect and cure us from diseases. Nature’s Sunshine is one of these many herbal products manufacturing companies, which was founded by Gene, Kristine and Pauline Hughes in 1972.
Nature’s Sunshine is a multilevel marketing company with 500,000 distributors, who market and sell their nutritional and personal care products.
Nature’s Sunshine manufactures hundreds of mineral supplements, herbal products, homeopathic products, etc.
Each of Nature’s Sunshine products is a result of a comprehensive Research and Development (R&D). The company always ensures the quality of the products at every stage of their production. To ensure the highest standards of quality, Nature’s Sunshine employs highly trained scientists and technicians.
Nature’s Sunshine claims that its Quality Assurance Department is a quality leader in the industry.
Recently, Nature’s Sunshine has opened new warehouse/manufacturing facility at Spanish Fork over an area of 250,000 sq. ft. There, the company wants to have modern manufacturing equipments and more R&D and Quality Assurance labs to ensure highest level of quality.
Nature’s Sunshine products have a combination of various herbs which act together to give the desired result.
It is all right that Nature’s Sunshine products are manufacturing products to protect and cure us from diseases in a natural way. But, according to Food and Drug Administration (FDA), some of their products like Carbo Grabbers®” and “Fat Grabbers®” are misbranded and violate the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
The FDA has reviewed that Carbo Grabbers®” and “Fat Grabbers®” by Nature’s Shine do not support competent and reliable scientific evidence. Hence, due to lack of substantiation, they are misleading, and misbranded under sections 403(a)(1) and 403(r)(6)(B) of the Act. [21 U.S.C. 343(a)(1), (r)(6)(B).]
According to FDA, it is a violation of the law to manufacture and market these misbranded products.
The FDA has asked Nature’s Sunshine to take corrective measures in this regard to avoid any enforcement action, including seizure or injunction, without further notice.
