The distributors can be retail distributors, who sell directly to customers, or the merchant wholesale distributors, who buy from manufacturers and sell them to retailers, merchants and companies, who either sell them again or use them.
Wholesale distribution deals with both the durable goods as furniture, office equipment, industrial supplies, etc, and the nondurable goods like groceries, chemicals, periodicals, etc.
The business of the distribution depends a lot on the product you choose. If you want success, it is important to find the niche of the audience that can bring profit. Even the structure of the shop depends a lot on the kind of product you choose.
These days the business on Internet is also becoming popular. There is a trend of e-commerce. If you choose this line, you can buy and sell through net.
